New language learning initiative
RCS have committed funding and sent out an open invitation to all staff offering them the opportunity to take advantage of free lessons. Staff will attend Head Office once per week over a 5 week programme to receive custom designed English Speaking lessons from the Charity’s tutors. These lessons will focus on situations that employees may experience whilst at work.
The course is part of RCS’s commitment to its staff, and the aim of the classes is to help our non-native English speakers acclimatise to the society and culture they are living and working in.
Speaking at the launch of the RCS ESOL initiative, RCS Managing Director David Sambrook said: "The RCS English Speaking course is designed to help improve an individual's linguistic skills within their particular workplace, helping them to feel more confident in dealing with situations and improving their communication with their colleagues and with clients.
We're extremely excited about this initiative and we look forward to rolling it out to more RCS staff in the future."
